Each of these tumbled stones was tumbled by me. I picked them all specifically for this choker because they bear significance to me. Each stones story, is something like: first one's worked with. childhood stones, ones I've found, favourite kinds, Gifted stones... etc. ask me about one of them next time you see me wearing it :)
Sterling Silver & Copper & Relief of the copper cut out on Brass
I went into the woods, picking foliage to cast. The tin foil looking bits are actually the bottom leaves of berries, similar to what blueberries have on the bottom, but larger. I set raw galena chunks in them that I chipped out of stone when I was 10 years old. All sterling silver, and 12kt Gold fill
All sterling and fine silver. All metal is water cast, even the bails. Soldered together with Raw opal shards glued into each casting.
Serpentine I plucked from the Fraser River. Tumble Polished. Sterling Silver
This caribou was drawn by staring at a piece of wood and outlining what I saw, I turned it into a pendant with a white Topaz up top
I harvested the tree bark from the mountains near the Fraser River in BC, close to Lillouette. I cast it and turned them into jewelry
I poured molten silver scraps on top of corn husk broom scraps to get this sustainable bugger :)
